In September 2023, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hard launched the next leg of their love story by driving out of a Stadium together after a Chiefs game. Pink car. No announcement. Just two people in love who’s ride had arrived. It kicked off three years of the most-watched love story in culture. It also gave Swift fans a real-world version of “Getaway Car,” one of the most beloved songs in her catalog.

CALL IT A LOVE STORY

So we built a night around finding yours. One... with the help of Uber One. Get it? FIND THE (UBER) ONE turned Shy Shy into a matchmaking experience for members looking for their romantic person, their platonic person, or at minimum someone willing to compare tarot readings. Guests moved through speed dating, a photo booth, poems typed on cue, tarot and aura readings, and a getaway car of their own. Friendship bracelets read single, taken, or it’s complicated (isn’t it always though?) the same kind Swifties trade at her shows. Name tags, license plate keychains, custom napkins, temporary tattoos, cocktail names. Every touchpoint in on it. Members got a night worth showing up for. Everyone else got a reason to sign up at the door. Some found a date. Some found a friend.
